Join NYLESA on May 25th at our table at the 4th edition of the United Nations International Bazaar, organized under the patronage of Mrs. Catarina Vaz Pinto Guterres.

Over a full day the United Nations Visitor Plaza will offer traditional merchandising, arts and handcrafts from all over the world. There will also be a food court serving popular national dishes. All money raised at the Bazaar will be donated to UNHCR for Syrian Refugees and to UN Women’s Guild administered projects aimed at helping children and women in vulnerable situations.

Promote your business or work by making a donation

We need your ideas and/or contributions for the NYLESA table at the Bazaar where we plan to sell merchandise. If you have a small business or are a talented artist and would like to promote your work, the UN International Bazaar is a great opportunity. The Bazaar is well attended by diplomats, UN staff and UN visitors every year. Make your business or work visible to this international community by donating your products or services to the NYLESA table!

Volunteer at the event

There are two different ways you can volunteer at the Bazaar; either by working at the NYLESA table or helping the UN Women’s Guild to facilitate the event. Volunteering at the event is great opportunity to network among UN staff and employees at the various missions. All volunteers at the Bazaar will receive a letter of participation and a snack. (Volunteers for the UN Women´s Guild will be invited for a brief training session on Friday, May 12th, to familiarize themselves with the venue and clarify expectations.)

When: Thursday, May 25th, 2017,  From 10a.m. – 4p.m.
Where: United Nations Visitor Plaza
Registration: If you would like to make a donation or volunteer please contact Welcome Coordinator, Odalea Freire at welcome@nylesa.org.
