CAREER RESOURCES

The NYLESA Career Support Team aims at providing members with resources and events to help you continue or restart your professional careers after relocating to New York City.

We are not able to land you a job directly but we eagerly share with you all the resources we have pertaining to careers in the US, so that you are better equipped to seek and get a job on your own. We also regularly organize peer meetings and workshops to give you additional tips and good practice, and meet other skilled professionals. Feel free to join us!

This career resource page gathers documents from UN and non-UN sources to walk you through your whole application process as well as your own business launching process. You will also find here relevant information regarding taxation.

Whether you are applying for a work permit, adapting your CV, searching for a job, writing your cover letter, practicing job interviews, considering starting your own business or simply networking, you should find on this dedicated page useful and relevant information.

If you have additional or more up-to-date resource you deem worth sharing, please reach out to the Career Support Team.

We wish you all the best for your career path in NYC!
